Grassfield Band Parents Association
The Grassfield Band Parents Association (GFBPA), is the booster organization for the Grassfield High School Bands Program. The GFBPA’s membership is comprised of all parents of current brass, guard, percussion, and woodwind students. The GFBPA meets monthly to discuss upcoming events and fundraisers, in addition to collaborating on the best ways to help support and promote the band program.
The GFBPA serves every aspect of the band program, including the three concert bands (Ninth Grade Band, Concert Band, and Symphonic Band), the co-curricular bands (Marching Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band), the Chamber Ensembles program, and the Winter Guard. Along with our sales-based fundraisers and dining to donate restaurant spirit nights, we host events such as the Grizzly Classic in October, the Craft Show in February, an indoor winter guard competition, and a Bingo Night.
We need all parents to volunteer any amount of time, efforts, and talents they can spare to help support our students! You would be surprised at the skills that are called for during the course of a school year. If you have any experience with carpentry, sewing, alterations, sales, welding, advertising, marketing, accounting, costumes, graphic/web design, landscaping, painting, moving, logistics, and anything you think of, please let us know. Even if you learn a new skill or join or chair a committee, we will be happy to put you with a parent who can guide you through the task at hand. This is a fantastic organization made up of amazing individuals, and it takes all of us to help the band realize its goals! Please log into Charms and click on the calendar to volunteer or email email@example.com.
